Privacy Policy.

Last updated: 3 November 2026

This policy explains what information Britwum Labs collects when you use our website and our products, how we use it, and the choices you have. We take extra care with information about children and young people.

Who we are

Britwum Labs designs and builds digital products, including Grow Play and the Back to School Bot. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Britwum Labs.

Information we collect

  • Grow Play. Account and sign-in details, the age band chosen, the choices and answers a player gives in the games, reflections and activity answers, and progress such as where a player stopped.
  • Back to School Bot. The items and budgets you type in so that the bot can search for prices.
  • This website. Anything you send us through the contact form, and basic technical data such as your browser type and IP address, which our hosting provider records to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

We use information to run our products, save progress, show results, answer your messages, keep our services safe and improve them. We do not sell personal information, and we do not show advertising to players of Grow Play.

Children and young people

Grow Play is made for ages 8 to 24. Players under the age of consent in their country should use it with the permission of a parent or guardian. For players aged 8 to 17, parents and guardians can see counts of activity, such as how many scenarios were completed. They do not see the private answers a young person gives. Scores are not shown to players as numbers.

A parent or guardian can ask us to review or delete a child's information at any time using the Contact page.

Sharing information

We share information only with service providers that help us run our products, such as hosting and technical support, and only as needed for that purpose. We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect the safety of our users.

Cookies and third-party services

Our products may use cookies or similar storage that are needed to keep you signed in and to remember your place. Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as it is needed to provide our products or to meet legal duties, and then delete it or remove what identifies you.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect information. No online service can be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local data protection law. To make a request, use the Contact page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make an important change, we will tell you on our website or in our products.
